IG Assassin Droid The IG assassin droid is a cold, efficient killer. Roughly humanoid in shape, the IG droid stands approximately 2 meters tall. It's weapons complement includes a repeating blaster cannon in each forearm, a concussion grenade launcher built into the left hip, a sonic stunner, a paralysis cord, and a rack of poison gas canisters. The mirrored palm in its left hand is capable of deflecting blaster bolts. Finally, the IG droid is capable of dramatically raising the temperature of its exterior plating, allowing it to burn through nets and other restraining devices. It may very well be the case that players will not get to own an IG droid, since continuity-wise, only 4 were ever in existance. Hopefully though, this marvel of engineering will make it into the game as an NPC. Battle Droids Battle Droids make very efficient soldiers as seen in the recent Star Wars prequels. While some would say that they are nothing but mindless walking blasters, others would call their lack of intelligence a part of what makes them good soldiers. A robotic, mindless soldier is loyal, unquestioning, and easy to control. Not only are they good soldiers, the Battle Droid's humanlike physique allows it to pilot a variety of war craft and other machinery. During the Galactic Civil War, it appears that Battle Droids have been replaced with stormtroopers, but we will still probably see these droids in the game to some extent.
